An excellent tour of the inside of a fusion reactor, from our friends at MIT-PSFC: 3D Tour of Alcator C-Mod I can only imagine how awesome this is with VR glasses.
Google and Tri Alpha worked together to improve the execution of plasma experiments and this is a great example of industry expertise being applied to research endeavors. I hope that fusion energy research becomes more open to this kind of partnership. There is a lot of room for materials science to make a splash in fusion.
