Google Scholar has spoken, my career is in decline 🙂 2017 was the first year in a decade for which the number of times my work was cited was lower than the previous year. For reference, I graduated in 2009.

Taking the LAMP course at UCSD Extension; I had no idea there was so much theory and best-practice procedure aimed at the scientist-to-manager population.
A colleague just had a fast ion physics paper selected as a Highlight (i.e., Scilight) by AIP. Vinicius did this work as a graduate student and it’s clear that he is a skilled theorist.
