I was one of the people who assumed Major League Soccer (MLS) was skyrocketing in popularity, but after reading this summary of the financial status of MLS (it’s really a critique of those finances) I’ve realized that does not appear to be true. This definitely factors into my level of support for spending money to bring a team to San Diego.
